２日目はアルハンブラ宮殿に珍入〜♪
８世紀ごろイスラム教徒のムーア人がグラナダの沃野ベガに入植し始め最初に栄えたのが後ウマイヤ朝で、
イベリア半島最後のイスラム王国であるナスル朝の時代に入ってからアルハンブラ宮殿が大きく拡張したのは
１３世紀頃でその後ユースフ1世とその息子のムハンマド5世の時代にカトリックの国土回復運動により
グラナダが陥落するとアルハンブラ宮殿にもいくつかの改築が行われモスクは教会へ変えられ、
礼拝堂や修道院が建築されている。細かい所まで洗練された創りの宮殿内は水もバッチリ廻っていて
当時のムーア人の高度な建築技術がチェキれます♪ とにかく広く色々あり時代によって
建造物も異なりスペイン人が後から建てた物よりムーア人の方が断然良く出来ていたのは凄く興味深かったです。

Our 2nd day, We went to check out la Alhambra〜♪ It was completed towards the end of
Muslim rule in Spain by Yusuf I and Muhammed V, Sultan of Granada in 13th century
when Christian Spain took over Granada by Al Andalus. They changed around La Alhambra
to be a Christian palace... Mosque to Church... Arabic to Spanish.....
However La Alhambra mixes natural elements with man-made ones. It's a testament to
the advanced skill of Muslim craftsmen of that time. It was really interesting to see Moors
and Spanish architecture which they built way after. Although Moors are much advanced
and more functional.
